Customers/Dealers accept responsibility to learn the proper use of any Pro-Tac merchandise. All equipment and other items purchased from Pro-Tac should be inspected before each use and damaged or worn out equipment should not be used at any time.
ORDERS
To place an order online you need to have browsed the products on offer and added items to your shopping cart. You will note the number of required products, followed by any product specific choices, such as size, colour, design, etc. When you have added the item to your shopping cart you will be notified and the amount will be listed on the main screen. Once you have finished shopping, please proceed through the secure checkout system to enter details.
In regards to your order, we reserve the right and intention:
* To cancel any order, at which time we will immediately attempt to notify this action by e-mail or phone, using the e-mail address or number/s provided. We will refund any monies paid using the original methods received.
* That all orders are subject to availability of stock

PRICING AND GST
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and include the Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST). * All items purchased from Pro-Tac Australia remain the property of Pro-Tac Australia until paid for in full.
* Dealers/Traders /Companies /On sellers all organisations must be a bona fide trading company with a trading history ,ABN number and 2 trade references. Service orientated references are non-void.
* If your account remains "inactive" for a period of 12 months, it will be reviewed and may be subsequently cancelled.
SHIPPING POLICY
We commit to using the most cost effective method in order to have your goods delivered safely and quickly to your door. Freight throughout Australia for orders of $650 AUD or more is FREE. This privilege is granted on the understanding that
your order will be transported at normal freight services. If your order is very urgent then Pro-Tac must be notified as such and the appropriate fast transport service will be charged to the dealers account.
In most cases our transport companies, to ensure your orders are delivered safe and secure will need someone to sign at point of delivery.
COLOURS
Pro-Tac will make every effort to represent colours accurately. Unfortunately the quality and settings of computer monitors may vary considerably. Consequently there may be slight variations between the colour seen on the screen and the actual colour of the product supplied.
Although our best efforts are made to ensure the information on the website relating to stock availability is up to date, there may be occasions when some products are temporarily unavailable due to demand. If your order includes products which are subsequently found to be out of stock, we will make an assessment based upon the time it will take for the stock to arrive and the likelihood of delays in the process. If you have a significant order, and only a small section is unavailable, we will ship the order in two deliveries. If a significant part of the order is unavailable at the time, we will contact you with information on delays and an expected delivery date so you can make a decision on continuing the order. Every effort will be made to keep you informed of any instance where an out of stock item requires a waiting period.
RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
PURCHASES
If you are not happy with the product you purchased on-line, Pro-Tac is happy to exchange it or provide you with a credit on your customer account, providing the product is:
* Returned within 7 days of receipt of goods
* In its original condition, undamaged and unopened
* Accompanied by a copy of the order.
* Returned with all packaging, instructions and guarantees and
* In a re-saleable condition
The customer will pay all return freight charges. If the goods are faulty, wrongly described or different from a sample shown, you may choose between a refund, exchange or a credit.
* Pro-Tac DO NOT offer sale or return on any basis whatsoever
* Pro-Tac DO NOT accept returns of sleeping bags unless there is faulty workmanship.
PLEASE NOTE: For liability reasons and our customers personal safety, we cannot accept returns on any climbing/mountaineering gear or ropes at any time (excluding warranty situations or shipping errors).
WARRANTY CLAIM
Items may be returned for a warranty claim under the manufacturer’s warranty conditions.
RETURNING AN ITEM
* Log into the website and bring up the order by searching your recent purchases by date. (located in the "Complete Orders" section of "My Account")
* Locate the item you wish to send back and press the 'Return' button provided. Fill in the appropriate details in Reason and return Action as well as leaving a note if required. You will be issued with a RID number (Return I.D.)
* Then submit return. Once we receive the Return notice from you, you will be advised of the action we have taken and what to do next.
* Please ensure that your RID number is clearly displayed on the return packaging.
IMPORTANT
* The return must be received by Pro-Tac within (14) fourteen days of the RID number being issued.
* Replacement product will only be shipped after the faulty item has been received by Pro-Tac . All returns must have an RID number.
* Any item that is returned to Pro-Tac without an RID number will be returned to sender.
* If you feel that your return falls outside of our policy, then you will need to complete the on-line Contact Form, or contact Pro-Tac Australia to confirm if your return can be accepted.
CHANGING OR CANCELLATIONS INFORMATION
Should you wish to amend or cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible stating the order number via the Contact Us section of the website and send us an email. There is no guarantee that we will be able to complete a cancellation or amendment, though all efforts will be made to assist.
TAXATION INFORMATION
All purchases made will incur the legislative goods and services tax currently set at ten percent (if applicable).
